Did you know that Cinderella’s Castle design was based on an actual castle in Europe? Neuschwanstein castle is located in Schwangau, Germany.

My hubby and I visited this castle in Feb 2001 during a ski trip with the singles from our church. Much to my surprise he proposed to at the foot of this Magical backdrop!

(Also the same castle used in Chitty Bang Bang!! — but that’s not as Magical as a Kingdom and a proposal!)
